Singingsongs
Melody Joanne Harrington; was the perfect daughter: straight a's, on the varsity cheer squad, well mannered. Her parents didn't care to look past the facade she put up, mainly because they didn't want to see behind the curtain: they didn't want to see the rebellious side of their daughter, the side who was seriously falling for the 'freak of the town, the side that didn't care about anything except for the here and now- the in the moment.
Her brother was the only person who tried to put a stop to her behavior, but as long as she maintained the 'perfect daughter' facade she had become oh so good at faking, she had her parents wrapped around her finger. Well as long as they didn't find out about her and the Munson boy they judged too quickly, not even getting to know him properly before making assumptions.
