After Kaigo was taken by HSPC from his training to become a hero, Airi remained with her mother, receiving little attention from her, who was preoccupied with her own life and wandering around, neglecting her child. Airi watched the heroes and admired them, especially All Might, whom she saw as her role model. She wanted to be a hero, especially since her Quirk was somewhat similar to Kaigo's. However, her mother was never supportive. She compared her to Kaigo excessively You can't be hero, that's what she said But Airi wanted to prove otherwise. . . . . . Completed: 2026-06-12

For quite a while already 'fake' heroes have made their way into the ranks of the heroes abusing their status.
