Something was coming! Fast! I fall to myself to my knees feeling something cutting into my legs as I do. When I hit the floor I realized what had been tile just moments ago was now a gooey mud like substance, trying to scream at the unknown man to get down but nothing came out, it was like someone had ahold of my chest and lungs and were refusing to let go not allowing me to speak or scream. But it was to late I saw a streak of something white run or fly past my face and I heard the sound of his body hitting the ground with a loud thud, when I looked there was nothing there but me and him but something was clearly pinning him down because I could see that he was struggling to move his arms and legs but whatever was holding him, I couldn't see the identity of whatever it was sitting on top of his arms pinning him there. He tried to reach for me as I did for him but I was sinking in to the ground I was being swallowed by the floor that has once stood firm under my feet. I screamed and kicked and fought to get to the boy in-front of me but the harder that I tried to fight the faster that the force pulled me under, but I wasn't afraid of dying or suffocating I just didn't want the boy to die. I cried, screamed and scratching at the now goo surrounding me. Whatever mysterious thing had tackled the boy latched on to his arm biting breaking the sink and leaving behind a missing cunk of flesh and the biggest bite mark I had ever seen in my life covering the length of the boys forearm. I started shaking with fear screaming for it to stop! And to please not hurt him that they didn't have to do this. "Help me" he whispered as he reached is his bloody mangled hand towards be one last time before I was completely consumed by the invisible force that held me captive and the boy was ripped to pieces by the beast that lay above him.

For Hayden, life had always been simple and uncomplicated. She had come from a predominately wealthy family that managed everything she did. Her future had always been planned and laid out in front of her and that was the only life she knew, that is until she met Landon. Landon was the bad boy around town that everyone knew was a trouble making druggie. With him she experiences a part of life she never knew existed and along the way discovers things about herself she never knew were there.
