Sparks fly between the two teens, but then everything is ruined when Haymitch is reaped for the Quarter Quell and Effie's family is captured and taken to the Capitol. When they reunite at the 74th Hunger Games as adults, what will happen?

This is a Hunger Games fanfic I have written for my favorite couple, Haymitch Abernathy and Effie Trinket. The characters belong to Suzanne Collins the original writer of The Hunger Games. Please do not read if you are going to get upset by the way I make the storyline function. Summary: Effie Trinket had always felt lonely and uncared for since she was a child. She felt like no one would truly understand her. Being a Capital citizen also did not help matters much. Everyone praised her even if she didn't deserve it. They faked happiness just to be close to her. They used her when she didn't know it, but what will be sparked when Effie Trinket at 8 years old meets a blonde boy who dares to defy all those frauds. What will happen when she meets him years later when they both are adults? Will they be the same as the day they met? Will they be revivals,enemies,friends, or more?

What if Peeta and Katniss never had to go back in to the arena? What if the third quarter quell was different? This is the story of the 75th Hunger Games but with a twist. Katniss and Peeta were never made to go back in the arena. Instead it was like every other quarter quell. Will they still be friends with Finnick? Will they succeed in their role of mentors?
