Mason Green works the afternoon shift at the 1862 book store. She hates the job, she hates her fellow employees, and she hates the long hours of doing absolutely nothing. I wrote this as a bed time story but I think it is better labeled as a short story.

Ava Johnson was your typical boy-crazy teenage girl. That is until she met "the one". Bryce Holdon. He was the perfect gentleman and they fell madly in love. Until one day something tragic happens, and she's left broken hearted. A few years later her best friend encourages her to get back out there. She finally agrees to go on a blind date. She throws herself into date after date hoping to find love again, but unfortunately for Ava her heart isn't ready to let Bryce go.

She is just 15 years old but she's been kicked out of almost every school in Pittville. There's only one school that will take her and if she's expelled from this one too, she has to go live with her dad and stepmom in a little town -not much different then the one she lives in- called Hildencliff. Will she go to Hildencliff? Will she make new friends, develop new crushes, find old friends or acquaintances, and hopefully find someone she can trust? Or will she stay in Pittville, with her old friends, acquaintances and maybe find someone she would trust with her eyes closed? She will go through many adventures, that's for sure. This isn't really a story, well I don't consider it one. It's just some random thing that I came up with weeks ago and have been playing the plot through my head. So I've finally decided to do something with it lol. ⚠️WARNING⚠️ Includes harsh language, underage drinking and abuse.

What caught me off guard were her eyes... those innocent, hazel eyes that I completely surrendered to without meaning to. They were so familiar, to the point that I could almost remember where exactly I had seen her because those hazel eyes were one of a kind. Never have I ever felt so frustrated and confused because of a pair of eyes on a person whom I'm sure I've only met once in my life. Ethan Halls, also recognized as his country's greatest police officer of his generation, finds himself tangled with a girl he can't completely remember and he doesn't completely know. And to make matters even worse the girl whom he had rescued can't remember anything but her name, Nicole. Nicole, also known as Hazel Eyes, cannot remember a single thing from her past. To make matters worse, she hears this from a stranger named Ethan. Ethan claims that he knows Nicole from his past; they don't even know it, but Ethan is the only one in the world who can help revive Nicole's forgotten memories and dreams. With Ethan's help, the two will somehow find a way to help regain Nicole's memories and will face happiness, sadness, and even maybe love along their journey.

Eyes do more than seek and this short story shows that. A girl who can't find happiness in her own eyes finds it in a set that speaks to her, a beautiful pair of blue eyes that make her find a home shes always set out to find.
