After a bad falling out, Matsuoka Rin and Hashimoto Emiko's short friendship was abruptly severed. Years later, Rin (gets his shit together and) returns to Australia and fixes his relationship with Emiko and they become friends once more. In order to improve their relationship as friends, Rin invites Emiko to go back with him to Japan during the holidays. Emiko is introduced to all of Rin's friends and she's getting along with them pretty well. As they both get roped into a friend's antics and scheming, Rin slowly discovers that Emiko might not be exactly how he remembered her to be. (The story takes place after S2: Eternal Summer but before S3: dive to the future)
