This is a story about a girl of 18 years old who have a difficult life in school and family, she lived all alone and without friends. One day she found a mirror that was abandoned in a building, where she accidentally falls on it. When she finally arrives to the world, her life change and it will never be the same. She founds friends in which she can finally count on, and without knowing, she founds her true love after being abandoned by the guy she just talk to and loves out of this world of love and adventure. Then within a night your family is afraid, not a penny to your name, and no where to turn. People search for work to provide for their family but yet no avail. It wasn't uncommon to send a young child or teen out in the world to grow up and try to scrape up some extra cash. At least in Janes life it wasn't. Being a teen and a woman, she couldn't even make enough money to find a place to sleep much less send money back to her folks. Still nonetheless she grows and finds new ways to make some money. While people are starving others are cheering. To them it was the best of years. Gambling on horse races and throwing away their money on boose. The races seemed to be a way to get everyone's mind off the great depression. It took them to a place where anything could happen.The jockeys risked their lives for a couple minutes of fame, or in many of the jockeys cases poverty. They sung and danced and in Mexico at the Tijuana track you could do and be whoever you wanted to be. Jane found this out at a young age, at Tijuana she could be whoever she wanted to be. And that's what she's did, she became someone who could finally send money back home, even if it caused her a couple broken ribs and scratches. However nothing can last forever, in 1935 gambling is banned in Mexico. The thrilling years of excitement is over for the races. Jane packs up and leaves for the United States where the races are on a take off. For Jane it's just a matter of time before her wall comes falling down, for Adam it's just a matter of time before he can't keep that secret anymore. In fact they are both more alike then anyone knows. They are the same person. *** All names of places are real and not made up, however most people are. Aaron shouted in the middle of the night crowd and pulled her hand into his arms, "Paris, wait! Don't!" "Don't what?" Paris stared at him with the wickedness in her eyes "Stop dodging me! I know something's not right." With a loud tone, he was angry. Worries enveloped him. Paris laughed cynically with disgusting looks, "What the hell do you care?" He shook her body by saying, "I do hell care about you". "Oh, really? As of what? As of your temporary place?" The sharpness of words emerging from Paris's mouth caused Aaron to release his grasp slowly. His eyes were dazed with disbelief while saying, "What the heck? No, Paris. I care about you a lot." He looked at her with deep concern. Her face looked pale and her eyes too wistful. "You look painful, come on let me take you home." "DON'T!" She screamed. The tears on her eyes wet her cheeks. "What's wrong?" He holds her hands and holding her chin so she can see how worried he is now. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" She pushed him so hard till making him almost fell off to the ground. "I'm just trying to help you from ..." "From what? Mercy?" Tears fall down. "Look, Aaron Morgan. I do not need you or everything you said I know you lied. Basically, you just want me to believe in you again and again. But now, you need to go on your own. I do not need any mercy for anyone who is just faking to do good things in front of me while in reality, they don't. So can you just leave me alone? Then let me take care of my self without you." RUNNING ### Will the deepest secret destroy everything Paris has? Will they belong together after that incident? Is there any time for Aaron to realize something that he does not feel before? Can Paris survive for the rest of her life?
