It was that time of year once again. Old friends would meet and discuss the oddities of life, telling tales of their adventures while their comrades were away. The group of men were known to be outcasts of society, often misjudged, but this annual meeting was a safe haven for them. Little did this peculiar group know, their lives were about to change. A new light would be shown on a responsibility that none of them thought they would ever have to take on. All educed by their own fantasies, these men would be shaken to reality through the bringing of a child into their lives. Or would they? Being the Headless Horseman is a "job" passed down to the males of the family. Also, throughout the generations of the dullahan women, there was a hybrid male born that could reattach his head and blend into society like a normal human being. But, now is the time that he find a bride. Let's see how that goes and who our current Horseman is through the eyes of our bride This is a spontaneous idea that came to mind one dark, rainy, foggy night. Please keep in mind that this is a horror romance story and that it is my first story as well. (I'm not the best writer, but I'm trying)

This is my first time writing a story, i know many of you will consider it crude or careless but this is a beginning for me. I invite anyone who has the time to give it a try and leave theier opinions on how i could improve. The story contains 2 parts one in the past and one in the present. Deep in the small yet hauntingly lonely town of Sleepy Hallow stood it's one and only asylum. And within it's dark walls, a man known as Elias Crane lay awake night after night after vividly horrific nightmares of a myth passed down from several generations of a soldier who fought on the opposite side of the Revolutionary War. as the story goes, the man was killed in battle and his head was sliced clean off his body with a sword by a man named Jacob Crane. Jacob was the great great grandfather of Elias Crane and ever since he was a small child, the stories of the Headless Horseman roaming the battlefield where it was slain back in 1776 and whoever saw him or got close enough to him was never seen or heard from again stuck with Elias for all those years. Voluntarily committing himself to the asylum was Elias' way of hopefully getting some control over the dreams but progress was slow and the dreams and hallucinations grew more frequently and more vivid and terrifying each night he fell asleep. Elias vowed to end this terror once and for all but no matter what he did , the Headless Horseman always found a way in the end to prevail. But one night Elias swore to priteca young girl named Emily who could somehow see the horseman as well but in their attempt to run and hide, Emily was killed by the headless monstrosity... or was she...?

The third and last book of Fairie. Thorne continues her work and spending time with her ever-growing family. Life and Death, good and evil, she will have to face the truth eventually.

So far there's only a few of these but these are letters from one character to another. I don't know if I'm going to make this the full story format or not yet. The romance does not come until later. Horsemen have no choice in who they love. They love their soul mate no matter how many times either is reincarnated. Horsemen are neutral parties either swayed to end the apocalypse or start it.
