This story revolves around a young girl known as Alice Kitts. She experiences every part of a normal 17 year old life, until she finds something. When she finds this ,not only does her world turn and twist but it kills.

April Wallace had it all. She was friends with nearly everyone, and had no enemies. Her boyfriend loved her as much as she loved him, and her parents were still as strong as ever. Her life was perfect. Then one day, her little sister unknowingly swept it all away with one accident. April's life was flipped upside down when she was accidentally shot in the head. Even though she survived, the battle to live life again was very strong. Many months in rehab to learn how to speak, to regain simple movements, and to walk. She was put into the special ed classes at school to learn things like the alphabet and shapes.
