Miao--
Mira Wen was one of the few sane corporate drones left in her design firm-
drawing until dawn, enduring her boss's endless "motivational abuse,"
watching her coworkers burn out one by one.
Numb. Routine. Until that morning.
Riding her scooter to work, she swerved to avoid a glowing white hedgehog
and plunged straight into the river.
Before vanishing into light, the hedgehog sighed,
"Humans suffer too much. I'm ascending now-be free."
When Mira opened her eyes again, she was a sixty-year-old granny.
No family, no money-just an overly cheerful neighbor calling her "Auntie."
On her first day, she could barely move;
on the second, she limped outside, only to hear-
"Granny, you can walk? Amazing! Truly amazing!"
That was when she noticed it:
Everyone around had pointed ears and swishing tails-
except her.
She wasn't in a human world anymore.
She had crossed into Miao Dynasty-an era when humanity hadn't quite evolved.
The hedgehog had left her a gift: a small, invisible spell.
It could store items-but only a tiny bit.
Yet whenever someone thanked her sincerely,
whenever someone praised her with a heartfelt "Amazing!",
that warm energy would grow, and her power would expand.
And so, the burnt-out corporate grandma began
her wonderfully free life in Miao Dynasty-
a second chance to build her world from zero,
this time not for clients,
but for herself.
