A poem about the world from the perspective of a person with Synesthesia (confusion of the senses). I was inspired by the book A Mango Shaped Space.

A band musician gets diagnosed with a disease that causes him to lose his hearing gradually over time. He had big dreams, he was going to be a song writer. His name was going to be known throughout the entire world. If he closed his eyes hard enough, he could hear the girls screaming his name while he stood up on the vacant stage. Just him and his guitar. Instead, he is faced with the heartbreak of the inability to continue his passion. Jayce must come to terms with his fate, as his life takes an extreme, unexpected term.

Listening to music and writing poems are my ways to escape the world of reality. When I listen to music, I enter another world where songs can hype me up, make me feel heartbroken even if I'm not, dance like crazy and making me imagine like I'm in a music video. Poetry is another world for me. Full of peaceful places where you can relax yourself. And here's a Compilation of poems inspired by some songs. The message heard from the song was encrypted by the heart and turns into another poem. Heard by the ear, encrypted by the heart.
