Poetry could change someone's life. It could start a bonfire in someone's heart or maybe a snow fight. It always causes you to feel something and no matter how hard you try, you can't deny the fact that you actually love poetry. Maybe you're not really good at writing poems but that won't stop you from liking the feelings they ignite in you and their bittersweet taste rolling off your tongue in forms of words. I see poetry as a person, a one rare person who could ignite my heart by words and heal my wounds by their depth. Poetry has always been a friend of mine and it will always be. It always stands away from me waiting for me to reach out and grasp it for dear life . It holds the fire in its hands waiting to ignite my heart at any possible second. Thank you poetry for making me feel alive. Thank you poetry for giving me hope, strength, and a hand to help me up. I wake up every morning looking for nothing but the taste of poetry on my lips and the feelings it ignites in me. Thank you poetry!
