A young girl named Aruki Koenma lives a life full of danger and death. Her parents were killed and she was taken away to an organization of assassins. They raised her up to be a highly trained assassin, and she is now promoted to taking on missions, were she meets Train Heartnet. They become small friends and the best assassins of their organization. But what will happen when she meets someone outside of the organization who has a different perspective on how to deal with criminals rather than killing? Will she chose to join him? A Black Cat one-shot. Train is anticipating his evening with Saya at the fireworks. What if, on that fated night, Saya was not killed? What if they were able to spend the evening together watching the fireworks? This is how things could have been. Slightly fluff-tastic :P

You never know what you have until you lose it. Humans are greedy, always wanting more and more. Even if they should be grateful for what they have. I dare to venture and desire. This is my dream. And I will accept both the pain and joy that comes with it. Even if I have to struggle to evade death. An ordinary life, with ordinary events is not worth living to me.
