Kassidy VanHolp has a strange family. Her parents are constantly disappearing in their basement, and when her brother turned 15, he started doing it too. On her fifteenth birthday, Kassidy finds out what has been hidden in their basement. She finally understands her family's strange habits. Her own personality suddenly feels useful, and each day, she too disappears down to the basement for hours on end. When she meets Levi Grayson, she puts her own talents and skills to the test. Being an introvert empath can be hard, but when Kassidy finds out how valuable her talents really are, she realizes that maybe everything she does is needed. Provided that she doesn't forget to take care of herself.

This will be my first time writing on a public platform, much less to others so hello people of Wattpad. Lol anyways, it's not gonna be the tip-top quality I would dream for it to be, but it's a concept I've been aching to write about so enjoy, or not, whatever floats your boat. (Also the art for this cover is mine, so no steal-y steal, y'hear? Okay capichè.) ------------------------- It's the same world. Nothing is overall life-changing of a discovery if you suddenly had it become the normal of your world. But, The view of a 'world' depends on the person, does it not? I live in a simple city, a simple town. It's normal, everyone talks, there's occasional gossip at school, people being friends, and just, normal lives. Why did this simple heart have to ruin that? It's a tiny yellow heart I wear on the side of my shoulder, about where a regular t-shirt's sleeve would end. Why did people make it more complicated than that? They have one too. A variety of colours, and a variety of places where these hearts are just placed on our bodies, It's basically a birthmark. People shouldn't be making it as complicated as it seems.
