Ixora Koko is princess of a small village in Novyi Zem and Tsar Nikolai's childhood friend. It's been years since they last saw each other. They've both grown and changed immensely, pulled to each other nonetheless in ways they hadn't been before. With insecurities, merzost and the growing threat of war looming over their shoulders, they'll need to navigate their way to safety across dangerous waters. This comfort is one that they begin to discover in each other. I worked so hard on this book. Not work as in work, I just mean... Hours of devotion to this story I crafted from my head and a single character I wanted to give a nice wifey. That was how it begun. And yes. I enjoyed it in many ways. Yes, Genya wasn't smth I saw coming even though I felt a pull to her in the show itself. I wasn't planning on that at all. Yet. At the end of it all. I can't even bring myself to finish this shi- Ahem. Set after Season 2 of Shadow and Bone. I have not read the books and likely will not, ever. I know nothing except the spoilers I have been unable to avoid so... This is just a short fic by a random person. Thanks and ciao, human This book is ✨COMPLETED✨

If things had just been better... Kaz Rietveld would be the brother of Jordie Rietveld- apprentice to Pekka Rollins. Kaz would be going to the University, a boy with a passion for magic tricks. Inej Ghafa would be an acrobat, traveling Ravka, with a love for the high wire. She'd be visiting Ketterdam with her parents as a way to escape the war. Matthias Helvar would be a Druskelle, searching Ravka for Grisha, and accidentally getting himself into something way beyond his paygrade. Wylan Van Eck would be the only heir to the Van Eck fortune, his dyslexia never holding him back- because his father can accept who he is: one of the most talented musicians in all Ketterdam. But you can't really have all that without trading it for something else, can you? Because these crows need to save the world from Jurda Parem just as much as the originals did, without their learned skills to aid them. By chance or by luck, they become a crew, stealing Kuwei-Yul-Bo and his father from Fjerda together.
