Heartsforge Stories

A sandbox of short, behind-the-scenes stories introducing characters, settings or side-plots from the author's other projects. Be prepared for some quick drafts and alternate timelines. Fox Pointe is a fictional district in south-side Chicago. These stories take place in a real-world setting that mirrors our own, allowing for creative license and "what if" scenarios. These stories may follow a group of students, the Chaos Squirrels, or they may follow a (fictional) detachment of the US Space Force led by Kenka Musa. Heartsforge stories take place in Dunia, a fictional world set inside of a video game. Gates of the Amasango stories are set in another video game of the same title. The Amasango (gates) link fifteen worlds that span five time periods (prehistory, ancient, renaissance, modern and future) and three game styles (realistic, steampunk-mecha, and fantasy-magic). Talent Seekers stories take place in Nukohiri, an Amasango world of superheroes and giant robots.

Mindy Pearl begins training to become a leader in her community. Following increased sightings of invasive creatures from the Lands Beyond, Mindy joins a quest to discover the cause of this invasion and to bring it to an end.

A choose-your-path style adventure. Each chapter will end with a few options, and the next chapter will continue based on the comments of my readers. * Each choice will generally reflect the popular opinion, however creative alternate suggestions may be followed instead if they fit the story and characters.
