It's been 190 years since "The Global Spawning Incident," when men, woman, children and teens around the world suddenly gained the supernatural ability to spawn real, physical armies, tanks, jets, and weapons from any era of human history. What began as awe turned into apocalypse. Governments fell, wars raged endlessly, and Earth's once-great nations collapsed into dust. From the ashes, new societies rose - built by Spawners, demi-human hybrids blessed and cursed with the power to command armies of their own making. Some formed new nations, others became warlords or hermits among the ruins. In the shattered metropolis of New York City, Battion, a 10-year-old Botswanan-Korean-American hyena hybrid femboy, lives a somewhat "normal" life - attending school, tinkering with vehicles, and casually driving his M1A2 Abrams tank to class. But when a mysterious Gate opens at the town hall, unleashing a Roman-like army of Saderans and mythical creatures, the Spawners fight back effortlessly - even toddlers commanding tanks join in. The Saderans are crushed within minutes. Yet curiosity drives the Spawners to venture through the Gate - only to find a fantasy medieval world beyond. However, before diplomacy or conquest begins, a second Gate opens nearby - leading to a parallel Earth, home of the JSDF. Now three worlds - the post-apocalyptic Spawner Earth, the fantasy Sadera world, and the JSDF's modern Earth - are on a collision course of ideology, survival, and unimaginable firepower. As the three worlds meet, alliances will be tested, legends will be reborn, and the age of the Spawners will change history once again. (Disclaimer: I did not own anything. Based on the Hearts of Iron 4 mod of the same name, the story depicts a world after the victory of the German Kaiserreich in the Weltkreig. By 1936 revanchist Syndicalists governments have arisen in Britain, France, and part of Italy, planning to take back the land which the Kaiserreich took, and take down the German Hegemon. The exiled governments of these countries keep the losing Entente scattered yet united in a common goal, to return home. Instability in Russia threatens to spill out, and with the Germany prosperity looking far from failing, only time will tell who will emerge from the inevitable Second Weltkreig alive.

Der Adler, der Wolf, und die Sonne: Die Geschichte des Stahlpakts (The Eagle, the Wolf, and the Sun: The History of the Pact of Steel) For the first time, a thorough research project with the support of the National Archives of Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan and the United States have flung open their doors to the premier students of the world's most serious conflict and allowed them to assemble in a cognitive work that ranks amongst the greatest historical works of the most famous students of History of all time--Herodotus, Thucydides, Livy, Caesar, Mahan, Massie, and others. This portion is the Prologue, a detailed review of the historical events between 1919 and 1935 which covers the political and military situations between the ending of the Great War and the start of the actual book. Some butterflies (alterations to the timeline) have occurred. A DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Furthermore, all images, charts, artwork or other digital media are employed under a Fair Use for comment and remain the property of their respective owners. This is going to be a mixed "Gameplay/Roleplay" Historical AAR. I, as the player, will not be doing (much) gamey stuff; I find it rather repugnant to min/max divisions or anything like that, but I do recognize the limits of the game. Basic Game Info: HoI3:TFH 4.02 Normal/Normal, playing as Germany, Italy and (though not until 1941) Japan. By 1943, upped to Hard difficulty.

"In the shadow of the Kremlin, a wolf of the Steppe learns to hunt." The Description: January 1, 1936. 12:00 PM. The wind screams across the Mongolian plains, carrying the scent of coal and impending gunpowder. Peljidiin Genden stands at the helm of a nation that the world considers a mere puppet of Moscow-but puppets have strings, and Genden is tired of being pulled. As the Watcher of the Akashic Records, I observe the threads of a different destiny. Behind the closed doors of the Government House, the revolution isn't just about the proletariat; it's about power, obsession, and the dangerous magnetism between men who hold the fate of millions in their hands. Under a Totalitarian regime, there is no room for weakness. But in the cold nights of Ulaanbaatar, can Genden maintain his iron grip on the state while navigating the suffocating "affections" of his Soviet advisors and the predatory gaze of the East? The war has begun. The Records are open. Glory to the Mongolian People-at any cost.
