Heartsurgery Stories

This is the story of my life. I have been through a lot from heart surgery to being alive today. I wish I could change what had happened to me in the pass. The hardest part was the house fire.

Every choice we make from the beginning of our life, maps out how our lives will be. How others peoples choices, will decide what we choose. Makes us wonder, is it because of a certain person's choice that mapped out how my life turned out. Or can I change my course by choosing something else.

When Mira, a broken-hearted engineering student with a failing heart, meets Aryan a cheerful young doctor with a painful past ,her life begins to change in ways she never expected.

Hot shot is five years old and lives with his parents Heatwave and Quickshadow. and their two year old Dalmatian Fireplug. Hot shot is a pediatric heart patient and has been since birth. Hot shot was born with a single ventricle defect called Double Inlet Left Ventricle he has had three surgeries by the time he was three but at age five his heart can no longer take it and he needs a heart transplant. Hot shot has friends with four other kids his age who also have single Ventricle defects three boys, Hoist who has hypoplastic left heart syndrome, Medix who has double outlet right ventricle, Wedge who has pulmonary atresia with no VSD and a girl named whirl who has tricuspid atresia and all of them now at age five need heart transplants too. They are all waiting for sometime and hope to get new hearts. They don't give up hope of getting new hearts. (Humanized)

"My heart swings back and forth between the need for routine and the urge to run," he says, his gaze a million miles away in another city, another state, another country, another continent or maybe another universe all together. My story on raising a child with Congenital Heart Disease

Orko is a little Trollan boy born on Eternia during a colony plan from Trolla. Orko was born with a special heart that needs special care. His parents love him very much and want to help him care for his heart. Orko is a very loving child and has many friends. AU.

Hannah is a playful and happy five year old girl. She has two parents who love her very much. However Hannah has a few problem like shortness of breath, getting tired easily, have a bluish color on occasion, and feeling like her heart is pounding. Hannah can't really run, jump or play like other kids. Hannah never could do those things ever. Her parents take her to the pediatrician who sends them to Texas Children's to see a pediatric cardiologist. Once there and some tests are done Hannah is diagnosed with heart defects that went undiagnosed. Now Hannah needs a lot of care to stay healthy. Hannah will become a heart warrior who will bring much joy and dreams into the world.
