Jude is a 18 year old footballer playing for arsenal when a 6 foot 4 norwegian joins his club and threatens to take his place as captain. (This is kind of an alternate universe that is inspired by real circumstances. Things might backtrack to real life events but this story is not supposed to be fully realistic). I also want to add that any writing suggestions may be taken into account throughout this fanfiction. I am planning on making this quite a long story so take this into account as it may take me longer than usual to update. Also my first language is swedish so a few grammatical errors may take place as I am not willing to use any form of Ai to alter my writing.

Summary~ Love is in the air. Shane Hollander, 18, is a school nerd who dreams of becoming a successful writer. Ilya Rozanov, 18, is the school's most famous jock and one of the school's best athletes, as well as his best friend, Alex, who's always talking about his boyfriend, Henry. Henry, 18, is a photographer who loves to take photos. wants to own his own photography studio. Mickey Milkovich, 18, is the biggest Playboy. He's always cracking jokes and doesn't care about anyone but himself. Mickey is rumored to be with Ian Gallagher, 17, the school's quiet kid who doesn't really say much but is known to be really smart. No one really knows if they're actually together. Last but certainly not least, you have Hayden Pike, the school's biggest yapper. He never stops talking and never really pays attention in class.

"We could've had everything," Shane admitted softly. The confession hurt more than he expected. "A real relationship. A family. A future." His eyes drifted toward the planes outside again before he exhaled slowly. "But dreams eventually end." A small, tired smile pulled at his mouth. "And this is me waking up."

Shane was in an accident on the ice after Shane and Ilya had fought. This phenomena caused the press to go crazy, making the boys relationship messy after Shane was discharged.

So, I'm trying something a little different with this new installment in the series, and I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea. As much as I adore M/M, I've always wanted to throw my hat into the very small pool of Female!Shane/Male!Ilya stories. I've also been itching to write the actor!Shane trope for quite some time, so I finally decided to combine the two. Another reason I wanted to write this fic is that, while I absolutely love exploring Shane's Japanese heritage, I realized I've been neglecting Ilya's Russian heritage throughout this series. I wanted to give that side of him more attention here and explore it in a way I haven't before. I really hope you'll give it a chance, and if you do, I'd love to hear what you think.
