ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern. I'm dying of cringe this was my first time ever writing in 2021 but decided to public it💀 Set in RTTE. It has been over a month since the riders last heard from the hunters, what happens when they receive an urgent Terror Mail from Berk asking for all riders to come help? How will this affect Hiccup and Astrid's relationship, who will get the most scar's? This is set in an alternate timeline to RTTE Season 5 where project shellfire was stopped by the riders before it could be finished, The gang were all told about Astrid and Hiccup anyway. But this still means that Viggo and Ryker are out there with their hunters and with other threats. Astrid is a widow who has a daughter and is struggling to pay the debt her husband left her. Their marriage was not a happy one ever since they began to distance themselves when the baby was born. As if paying for the debts weren't enough, she has to deal with her former mother-in-law who blames her for her son's death and would not leave her alone.
