A story based on my 'The Next Step' DR (desired reality) Ozzy has a cousin, called Oscar, who works at a diner in town. Oscar is also a dancer, however, he doesn't go to the next step since he had just moved here. When a spot opens up on A-troupe once Cleo left to go to a school of music in England, Izzy told Oscar he should definitely audition. Oscar wasn't so sure but auditioned anyway, and got the spot. Ozzy tells him to never speak to heath, or as Ozzy would say, 'heathcliff'. But a quick connection grew between the two. What will happen? And how will Oscar tell Ozzy about these feelings towards him rival?

Ozzy and Sienna have been best friends for as long as anyone can remember, and now they're finally on A-Troupe together. Sienna knows better than to fall for Ozzy since he's hopelessly in love with her big sister, Richelle. After thousands of failed attempts to win Richelle's heart, Ozzy finally wonders if what he really wanted was in front of him all along. Sienna couldn't imagine anything worse, but when the Dancamania production team throw them into a fake relationship to help TNS win the public's affection, Ozzy seizes his chance to prove he could love her more than she knows.

Heathcliff is the new edition to TNS, and is cocky, arrogant, and determined to prove himself as the best dancer on A-Troupe. He'll do anything to be on top, and if he has to burn bridges to become dance captain, then so be it. When he ruffles feathers with Ozzy, he sets off a chain reaction of tension and drama within the team. He also sees an opportunity to get to the top in the form of you, the group's dance captain and Ozzy's close friend. He get's to mess with Ozzy, and get to the top, seems easy, right? Her sister, Grace has the same dreams, and joined TNS a few months ago to try and make it happen. Things are changing on A-Troupe since they won Regionals. Quite a few of its members have taken a leave, meaning new alternates are needed for the coming season, and all Charlotte wants is one of those three open spots. However, she's not the only one. There are several members of B-Troupe who want one of the three alternate spots, and Heathcliff just so happened to be one. Heathcliff and her weren't friends, but they weren't enemies, either. They were just... acquaintances. However, when they make the team as alternates, their story is just beginning. Through her sister's betrayal, all the competitions, all the insecurities, she and Heath support each other. Their journey isn't always smooth sailing, but they're always there for each other.
