After a couple losses in battle, it is now the weekend where RED Team gets to have some time off to rest. Medic 'goes missing' after talking to his brother after the battle (BLU Medic) even though they were sitting down watching the sunset. Medic goes back to RED base and takes the time on the weekend to test out some experiments as he hasn't been able to experiment much besides from healing his team 24/7. As Medic thinks his experiment is going rather well, some of the Mercenaries get into a fight by yelling, it startles Medic and misplaces an item which causes the experiment to blow up. Medic is now injured, he doesn't know how badly. He hasn't told anyone but some of the Mercenaries are getting concerned about his mental and physical state of health.

From an AU I created where both Heavy and Medic are in the fashion industry, the questioned finally came: "How did they meet" and now to answer it join us on the hard journey the two previous mercenaries took to be at the happiest they are today.

Medic is having trouble sleeping, busy with work, when his friend and lover Heavy decides for himself that his Doktor needs sleep. (Also, credits to whoever made the cover image, I wish I know who did. If I ever fix this, the only fix will be I will make my own cover. But for now, credits to whoever made this lovely art)

Despite them being enemies, Heavy still felt wrong whenever the two's eyes met on the battlefield. If he didn't have to, he wouldn't lay a finger on his friend; he had always seen Medic as a business friend, but after he'd been moved to the BLU team, it dawned on him that they truly were friends. He sighed. The man regretted never thanking Medic for all he'd done for him; it was too late now. The only recent moments they spent together were when they were on the battlefield, and none of them were fueled by their friendship. It was fueled by a thirst for violence. The bloodlust in Medic's eyes wasn't foreign to Heavy, but he never expected to see that fierce gaze fixated on him. --- After a year without Medic, Heavy decides to reminisce once more. After a fateful encounter, he discovers Medic lost all his memories about him and the rest of the RED team.
