Hello!!! You might be coming from my previous Daily Bible Reading and Prayer, or you might be new. Either way, welcome! If you are wondering whether you should read the first one first, I would say, you can if you want, but you really don't have to. So what is this book exactly? The title is pretty self explanatory, but I will explain more. I started this because I used to neglect my devotions, always making excuses. By doing this I am keeping myself accountable, I say I will do a chapter a day, so if I don't, I will be lying. How I do this is first I copy and paste a chapter from the Bible(I'm currently in Hebrews and Psalms), then as I read it, I make notes, and then I pray. I hope you will be blessed by this book! Btw, I'm using ESV for this one, I used KJV for the last one. I want to try ESV because lots of people, including my crush, say it is more accurate. I do try to update this every day, but I go to Bible study on Thursdays and every other Sunday, and I often don't get home till rather late, so I don't always do this those days.

I've always been fascinated by the plethora of examples that God gives us in the Bible. Hebrews 11 (which has been called The Hall of Faith) is a place in the Bible where there are many examples (listed sequentially) of people who had faith in God. This is something that I have been doing in my free time and I hope you guys enjoy it or at least find it interesting.

Young Rachel bat Samuel’s life has always been filled with peace, coexistence, and stability in her hometown of Binah, a town tucked away in the Black Hills of South Dakota in the shadow of Mount Abaddon. The mountain is surrounded by legends of the demon Abaddon who destroyed the area, Hebrew refugees from before the days of Moses, and a history that has been kept silent by the Europeans who have settled there. Her upbringing has prepared her for few surprises. She knows what is expected of her at every age, what she will do for a living, and when she will marry. Rachel feels her upbringing has prepared her for everything except the questions and doubts that come to her mind. Life seems normal when her family takes a vacation to the peaceful village of Abaddon to celebrate her brother’s wedding. She befriends a young geologist who warns the family of impending doom if they remain in the shadows of Mount Abaddon. Rachel soon becomes aware that nothing in her upbringing can prepare her for the challenges that face her when the volcano erupts… Enjoy the first 65K words of my latest novel, which is now available on Kindle at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HSG2JCG and in paperback at https://www.createspace.com/4517078

The Bible is the Word of God. That is the commonly accepted phrase that expresses belief in inspiration. And by "inspiration" is meant by God, or the Spirit of God, was at work in the community of Israel and in the early Christian community to produce, through a number of human authors, a series of books that witness to God's revelation of himself through history. That divine self-revelation reached climax in Jesus Christ ( Heb. 1,1-2). The new revelation from God which focused in Christ.
