Myako, a Japanese Art Director working in Shanghai meets a disturbing, yet very charming American (Eddie White) who is both terrified by and interested in vintage dolls. Their relationship develops in the context of an abduction-murder scandal and the woman suspects her new lover of being the actual murderer. But Myako herself is not who she seems she is, in fact she is an immortal being, a living dead who had long ago sold her soul to the devil in exchange for the right to live. Things complicate when a drug addict Seattle PD detective comes looking for the man, revealing even more about his supposed crimes. Odd sex choices, sadistic, ritualistic murders and investigators interested in covering up things, nobody is who they seem they are and nobody is safe.

A former geneticists and a young girl crash-land on a distant moon. Although thought to be uninhabitable, the moon is covered in lush and deadly red flora. The two must trek through this land in search for a way off, though they may be entangled in a larger ploy encircling the mysteries of this world. In the world we live in, thoughts get lost. Not because they want to disappear, but because we're too afraid to think them. Some are naughty, some forbidden, some simply unwanted. We don't want to think them. We can't. We don't have the time to. We're not brave enough. So we push them away, shift them to places where they're harder to find-far beyond what is allowed, desired, or considered good. But sometimes the mind takes a journey to visit them again. Let me tell you about about a place, a mythical island. The ground is meant for much more than to step on, instead the land feels you. The lakes and rivers are also meant for more than for just bathing, its waters are used to caress you. Even the wind that blows on your skin is like a whisper. This land is alive for the very spirit of the island is in every rock, every drop of water, and each blade of grass. No one comes to the island by accident. On this island, the local beliefs and traditions may very well be viewed as taboo by modern society. However in this place nothing is taboo. Instead those that inhabit the island are free from the constraints of modern judgement. Those that live among the island are liberated from such notions of taboo. No fruit is forbidden. Those that come into the domain of the island are destined for the land to be their new home. This is the story of those that have been recently summoned. Though they have yet to realize their invitation as their ship, a pleasure cruise liner named the Serendipitous Voyage is making its way through the Mediterranean sea into an unpredicted storm. This is the story of those coming to the island and this is their story.
