Spencer Reid and Aaron Hotchner always seemed to have a strange sort of tension between them. The rest of the BAU always assumed it was because of their "shared daddy issues", as Rossi would say, but what happens when it turns out that the two had dated in highschool and through college? Through the means of some light harassment and no small amount of threats and blackmail, the BAU team is about to find out. AKA: I decide that no one in the team has uncomfortable age gaps :) and then I explore how Reid and Hotch's childhood trauma would fuck them up as teens ;)

Ever since Dr. Spencer Reid joined the BAU under the supervision of Aaron Hotchner, feelings have sparked that never seemed possible. Both of the men's professional lives will be questioned as they start to play a more dominant role in each other's personal lives. Aaron Hotchner knew nothing about the effect the young doctor would have on him. Spender Reid was unaware of the choices he would have to make revolving around his new boss. More importantly, what will Strauss think about the special bond that starts to blossom between two of her employees?

Hello, friends! This is my first story. I am taking a fiction writing class as part of my AP Lit course which has inspired me to write more than I ever thought I would be able to. Anyway, I've always found it strange--and somewhat unsettling, if I'm being honest--that mlm fan fiction was almost always written by girls, so I, as a gay man, decided to write one and put it out there as a story for mlm, about mlm, by mlm! I also think this ship could have had a lot of potential. Anywho, in the story, as it is quite explicitly stated, Spencer and Aaron have been married for a while. Also, Spencer has asthma because I always felt like he did. This fic is really just aftercare because I love the idea of Hotch and Reid being soft with each other.
