Dragan has spent his life a god among men, but after his death, he is delivered to Odin in Asgard where he was told that he was now an einherjar ( "ane-HAIR-yar", which translates to "those who fight alone"), brought back to fight for the Gods in the battle of Ragnarok. During his time in Valhalla (the hall within Asgard that houses the dead), he changes. Becoming a drunk addicted to mead (milk from the goat Heiðrún "HEY-droon"), but when Ragnarok finally came, Dragan was nowhere to be seen. Now she's stuck with a rather odd groups of students on a quest to find her sword before the minions of Fenris get it to break his chains.
