ilaria was the beloved daughter of navier and sovieshu, the empires first and only princess, the only problem was that she was not a boy and due to this she was unfit to inherit the throne, Navier of course thought differently and saw ilaria as the future emperor of the eastern empire and decided to raise her as such, from a young age the princess was thought the same lessons as any other king, manners, politics, handling state affairs and money, different languages ect. And due to the fact that after so many years the emperor and empress hadn't produced any other offsprings many nobles began to think of the princess as the heir to the throne and treated her with utmost respect, perhaps one of the only people that didn't treat her as the heir along side the sexist men and woman, was her father the emperor sovieshu, while he greatly loved his daughter he always wished for a son, he wanted a prince and ilaria just wasn't that, it took so much hard work for the couple to have a child and the disappointment of having a girl was just to heavy a burden for the man.

The crown princess of the Eastern empire, was born away from the longing emperor's grasp. She grew up in a mansion far away from her supposed land as a princess unaware of her royal lineage in the ex-empress's embrace.
