While Tsubomi was having a hard time, Hanasaki Sora, a boy with the same last name as Tsubomi, helped her. Under the witness of everyone Hanasaki Sora transformed into Kamen Rider Kabuto. Pretty Cure and Kabuto's meeting is where the story really begins. Together they fight against those who want to destroy the Great Heart Tree and protect humans from the WORM. During the battle, Tsubomi gradually uncovers the mystery surrounding Sora and learns the truth about the meteorite impact 7 years ago.
