This story is obviously inspired by the legendary song, American Pie, by Don McLean. Some characters and events are also inspired by real people and songs. This story is about Helena McCartney. She is awkward and usually and enjoys being indoors with electronics rather than the opposite, being outdoors with people. I started writing this book at the age of fourteen as a pass time, but as I wrote more I began to love the people I had created. It took me a long time to write this, but by the end of secondary school it was complete. I only heard of this site recently and only after I got my book published. However, all I even wanted was to share my book, my story. If you want to read something that comes from the soul then I invite you with open arms to read my creation.
