In Mary's mind, Terry can't even begin to fathom why she never told him who his real father was, yet Catalina Flores showing up in town after Nightwing reappears brings everything rushing back. She chooses to confront the past, even only partly. Disclaimer - I don't own Batman or Batman Beyond. This is working with my alternative head canon for Terry's origin where his biological father isn't Bruce, but someone else. This varies from my other stories featuring said headcanon slightly in the fact Mary/Helena knows Nightwing's not really dead, although the rest of the world thought so. The third round of Write to Rank involved "an epic banter between good and bad", but I also found myself currently thinking about how DC never addressed Tarantula raping Dick, so I ended up with an epic banter with multiple "goods" chewing out the "bad" on this one. Not quite the result I wanted, but it works.

Damian and Jason al Ghul grew up in isolation away from the rest of the world, the only company they had was each other and occasionally their mother, Talia. They believed their father to be dead, their mother had always told them so, and why should they question her? She is their mother, after all. Everything was fine until the day Talia's life of crime caught up to her, forcing her two sons to be sent to live with their very much alive father and the siblings they never knew they had. What could possibly go wrong?

(I suck at descriptions) Scarlett Kyle enjoyed her days of being a villain with her mother (Catwoman), out robbing and causing trouble. But, Scarlett's lifelong routine changes when her mother must leave for a mission she is not allowed to know about. Therefore, Scarlett must stay with her mother's ex-boyfriend, Batman. And life isn't easier there. Bruce's bratty, know-it-all, popular daughter is constantly picking at Scarlett, while Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian have to make it more chaotic. It doesn't help that she always gets in trouble for many troubling things, being the bad girl she is. But, with the help of a super-hero dad and a couple of friends, she might just make life easier and change her ways...

Matt gets sick after an accident which occurred while attempting to follow Batman. Terry finds himself going into the past with the current Flash in hopes of finding a way to make his younger brother better. Disclaimer - I don't own Batman Beyond, Young Justice or any other DC series such as Batman and Nightwing. I'm using my alternative origin for Terry in this.
