How that works, nobody will ever know. 15 year old Kori is just days away from his birthday, hoping with all his heart that him and his girlfriend Vienna will be soulmates. a message for the summer

I wrote this in 7th grade with 10 minutes for a class writing :)

When you turn 16 you can hear what songs your soulmate is listening to. 15 year old Kori is just days away from his birthday, hoping with all his heart that him and his girlfriend will be soulmates. Well... He did until the new boy came. When that happened, everything changed. Enjoy this short story with small dnf/mcyt references, including helium/heatwaves, a colorblind person, and someone saying "language!" No triggers, 5k words, maybe a part 2?

"Then YOU do it, you won't." She raised an eyebrow and took another two balloons from Emily's bunch. She breathed them in all at once. "Try me....You couldn't do this if you tried." "I could do 3!" I told her. "I'll do 4!" "5!" "6!" "7!" "9!" I stood up and grabbed the group of balloons. "All of them!" She was silent for a minute. "Then do it." I swallowed. "Ok I will," I inhaled it all at once. "Hi, I'm..." I started coughing. "HAHA!" Sasha yelled. My head was pounding and the sound of her laugh rang in my ears. I couldn't breathe. "Angel? ANGEL?" I could hear them shouting. It hurt my head. "Let's get my mom!" I heard them run out of the room. Then everything went black.
