Aurelia is a 15 year old angel who has never once smiled since she arrived in Heaven. All she does is walk to the gates each day to see if the one person who could make her smile has arrived to join her in Heaven but years turned into decades. The angels try to get her to stop her "foolishness" and start acting like an actual angel but she is nothing but a shell of herself, she won't smile or even speak. After another day of not being reunited she once again heads back to her room in sadness until she hears about angels killing human souls.
