This is a poem I wrote that pretty much sums up the way we view perfection, why the idea of it is wrong, and the actual meaning of perfection! I wrote this for a friend who was having a hard time with bullies. She wanted to change herself to be more "normal" and to "fit in"... I hated the way she was thinking about her self, and how she was treating herself because of what a few random people think! I hope this helps you to understand what perfect really means... This isn't just girls or even teens! I feel that this is a message that EVERYONE needs to hear/read and believe! I don't want anyone in the world to go through what she went through... And though i know that someone will always feel this way, i hope that they come across this poem and start to feel better about themselves! You shouldn't change who you are because of others!
