The idea of this story popped into my head while listening to some old music, most commonly The Ink Spots and Neil Armstrong. I wondered if there was a reason that characters in The Railway Series and TV series got away easily from being scraped entirely. at that same time the idea of a sympathetic diesel added more fuel to the fire of my idea. so I wrote it quick, and I made sure that it would touch any reader that read it. Writers need good facial expression descriptions in their writing to help the readers picture the characters, to convey emotions, and to set up lines of dialogue without having to write "said" or any of its synonyms. However, it's easy for us to rely on the same descriptions over and over again. And sometimes in the middle of writing, when we're trying to find the words to describe an angry expression or a sad expression, we draw a blank. Many people wish for their own story. They wish for their own happy ending. In doing so, they create a colossal wave of events that somehow makes them the main character. Now, being the main character is the best thing ever. No one wants a supporting or background role. They want the lead. For some reason, any role other than the main is utter trash. And I find that quite offensive. Yes, I am a background character. Does it suck? At times. Am I okay with it? Of course. Even though I don't have my own heart-wrenching story, or whatever, I enjoy my life. In this piece of literature, that I have composed in my laboratory (the blessed library), I shall tell the tales of my life. I shall rivet thee with the things I have witnessed. Because there can definitely be happiness in the background.
