Poetry is a great way of purging your soul, of dealing with a situation that has sent you reeling. Sometimes poetry can be dark, because it truly comes from the heart of what a person is feeling or experiencing. I write what I know, what I have experienced and what I have learnt, if I touch you with my words, if I make you feel... then I know that what I have written is worth while.

The night when i finally decided to let go of her, and joined the rest of them out there and played make beleive, This story is too close and personal to me , it has been 2 years. Still its hard to go back, but i want to write it all to make the sense of why it happened and how it impacted me. Made me the kind of person i am today, a totally different one. Its just an excerpt from the memory lane there is this entire story which i wish to write to put it out there, how society and their beliefs have done nothing but tore people apart. Leave a Comment, of what needs to be improved in my writing or simply like it , if it made u realise that , hey i felt like that too at some point !

Have you ever been in a position of complete helplessness? That feeling of not being able to do anything where all you can do is watch and wait to see the events unfold. If you haven't then prepare to feel the sensation and hold on tight.

He stepped onto the stage as though it belonged to him, as though this was always where he was meant to be. The whispers grew louder, confused, agitated-but still, no one saw what I saw. He knelt in front of me. The world stilled. He reached for my shaking hands, his touch impossibly real-warm, grounding, familiar. My breath caught in my throat. "I told you," he said softly, his voice meant only for me. "I'm still here." From the author, [This story was inspired by Forestella's new song, "Still Here." Although the song and the story are not directly connected, I chose to use this cover as a sign of respect and appreciation for the artist. ^^]
