You can almost always see Kristen Ayers with her head in a book. If not, then you'd be safe to guess that she's either talking about books or writing her own. Even so, this shy girl finds herself in a reading contest with Drew Konrad, the admired quarterback of the football team. They're competing to see who can read the most books before the end of their senior year. Kris thinks she will easily beat him at this task, but finds she doesn't give him enough credit. Will he beat her? Will they find love? But the true question will be, can they read each other?

{Book One in the Sketch Rift Trilogy} Charles Hemingway is a spy. Only the most cunning and clever actions will carry him to his end goal, as with any spy. But Hemingway is no ordinary spy- he manipulates time itself to bring himself to his destination, the new home of his target: a hero from years ago called Samuel Lawrence, or Soal. A year has passed since Soal's journey back in time with Irene Grammor, the Green Phantom, and they have begun to blend in with the people of the time. But Hemingway's signals begin to penetrate their lives, and with the blow of four mysterious numbers: 9, 1, 0, and 1, they are pulled into a trap set by the spy. This trap will send them to Hemingway's age, an age once dominated by the malice of an unspeakably desperate corporation. An age in which one threat reigns supreme, the one with which Hemingway has matched them for a battle: the Time-Bound Thief. And the numbers that have been etched into Soal's mind bring further meaning than the purpose of the spy, and prognosticate a mysterious fate that Soal must face, or die. ATTENTION: This is the seventh total book in the Sketch Saga. The first entry is The Sketch: the Voyage of Soal. You must read books one to six before reading this one.
