Dustin Henderson had spent the last eight years searching for something. What exactly, he didn't quite know. And even if he did, he would never admit it to anyone, much less himself. In theory, he had everything he ever dreamed and imagined. He graduated valedictorian back in 1989, got his PhD from Duke in Astrophysics, moved to Colorado to work on a brand new satellite for a company he loved, and he and his best friend Steve still took annual trips every summer. What more could he possibly want? One holiday trip to Hawkins, Indiana, in December 1997 may lead him one step closer to what he's looking for... well, that and a one-way ticket to Iceland.

Everyone in the town knows about you and they don't allow thier kids to be near you. They all pity your single father and think that since your mom died when you were young you became like that. Hawkins had settled into something that felt like normal life again, the kind they used to dream about when everything was monsters and fear and survival. It had been awkward and surprising and somehow perfect at the same time. Dustin had tripped over his own words for an entire week after that, and El had just laughed every time, like she finally understood something about the world she hadn't before. Everything was good. It hasn't really changed much from since when they made the group in the first place, but they're okay with that. They've got eachothers backs. However, this school year isn't like the others. Enter, practice prom! Hawkins High is throwing a "practice prom" this year, called 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭. Mike is obviously pissed off, considering that his parents are jet set on making him participate in 𝘢𝘭𝘭 school activities. He doesn't even have a reason to go! He doesn't have anyone to go with considering that 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 expect him in the party has a date. Enter Will Byers. Will Byers joins a few weeks before The Snowball, and considering how short the school year was, he pretty much joined when everyone else did. Mike Wheeler, his neighbor, instantly fell head over heels for him, inviting him to the party. It was peetty much social suicide, but he didn't really care. Mike is hoping to come out of his shell to ask him if he wants to go to The Snowball with him, but hes scared that hes not... Like him. This isn't just based on romance stories but also platonic ones especially like I love doing a series on found family and way more than just ships and things I imagine happen off screen that they never included like I value will and els sibling dynamic as well like I love the sibling duos they have and just some things that would make sense to me since I'm hyper fixated on the show and have some many skits and ideas to come up with on it like in my opinion argyle was underrated character that we should've seen more of

Richie is going to have the best summer in Hawkins ever and nothing is going to stop him. Not the nostalgia of not being with the Losers, not Eddie's girlfriend, not his lame cousin Mike and specially not these weird thoughts that get louder when he's alone. Thank god at least Mike's friends aren't lame, specially a very interesting Wizard.

Basically 'Andrew in drag' (drag is gonna be chapter 4/5) but Stonathan 😎 I don't know I watched some edit of Reddie with 'Andrew' in drag and was like 'that should totally be a fanfic', but changed my mind to Stonathan because I love Jonathan and Steve like a lot a lot and I just remembered when I was younger I had a gacha account where I did bl thing in drag before I even heard the song.. foreshadowing This is based between season 4, so they're probably 18/19 or I suck at maths, and Robin, Steve, Nancy, Dustin and Jonathan are in a friend group. I'm gonna be switching between perspectives but it'll mostly be in Jonathan's because he's my favorite out of the 5. Also no cannon relationships between the main 4 (Jonathan, Steve, Nancy, Robin (+Mike)), obviously, I don't want any cheating and Nancy's a girl boss, she doesn't need no MAN *wink* *wink* *wink* SHIPS INCLUDED: Stonathan, Rancy, Henderhop, Byler, and mainly the cannon ones, unless I change my mind.

Mike and Will being idiots BUT they're at a summer camp so it's fun Or Will and Mike have been going to Camp Avalanche since they were 7 years old, but when Will has a revelation over the school year he comes back with a different attitude. And Mike Wheeler is not good at change.
