In this version of Stranger Things, how things play out are different than in the canon show. Relationships are shifted, endings are changed, and plots are rewritten. In this universe, the friendship between Dustin Henderson and Eleven Hopper seems to be more than meets the eye. After her almost too neutral breakup with Mike Wheeler, El can't help but notice the growing tension between not just her and Dustin, but also Mike and Will. As the party fights to save Hawkins from the worsening threats of the Upside Down and those trying to instigate it, Dustin tries to remove the feelings he has for El, but as they get directly thrown into the danger together, he finds it near impossible to resist. My first Stranger things fanfic So i saw this tweet that kinda put out a henderhop idea that i really liked so i'm turning that into a bit more reality i can't find the tweet again but if anyone could end up finding it and telling me so i can give credit to them for the idea that would be great thanks. Now for the actual plot Ten years that's how long it's been since the upside down exploded since eleven went missing, dead or alive Dustin wasn't sure but he hoped she was for more reasons than one. The gang still tried to meet up, but he could tell they were growing apart, building their own lives and he was ok with that. Then he gets an email, asking to accompany him on a research team that was investigating some strange readings that had last been seen in Hawkins.

What if, Byler did become endgame? What would that change? We all know Will's gay but...what about Mike? How is this potential relationship going to effect his entire world? Will it work out in the end? Do we get a happy byler ending? Does Will find another guy? One thats not just his Tammy? Will Mike be able to move on from Jane, or will she forver haunt the narrative? There are plenty of plot holes in stranger things, I hope to fill some of them in this story. The story isnt in anyone's particular POV, its more like a mix of both. Basically 'Andrew in drag' (drag is gonna be chapter 4/5) but Stonathan 😎 I don't know I watched some edit of Reddie with 'Andrew' in drag and was like 'that should totally be a fanfic', but changed my mind to Stonathan because I love Jonathan and Steve like a lot a lot and I just remembered when I was younger I had a gacha account where I did bl thing in drag before I even heard the song.. foreshadowing This is based between season 4, so they're probably 18/19 or I suck at maths, and Robin, Steve, Nancy, Dustin and Jonathan are in a friend group. I'm gonna be switching between perspectives but it'll mostly be in Jonathan's because he's my favorite out of the 5. Also no cannon relationships between the main 4 (Jonathan, Steve, Nancy, Robin (+Mike)), obviously, I don't want any cheating and Nancy's a girl boss, she doesn't need no MAN *wink* *wink* *wink* SHIPS INCLUDED: Stonathan, Rancy, Henderhop, Byler, and mainly the cannon ones, unless I change my mind.

Hawkins is back to normal. Vecna is dead. The government is gone. Life is perfect. Except for the fact that El is gone. Joyce and Hopper had lost their daughter. Will and Jonathan lost their sister. Max lost her best friend. Mike lost his girlfriend. On top of that, Dustin is seeing flashes to something wrong.. A different version of Hawkins. But the problem is, nobody believes him. Steve thinks he's making stuff up because he misses El. But can he help his friends find their way back to reality?

It hasn't really changed much from since when they made the group in the first place, but they're okay with that. They've got eachothers backs. However, this school year isn't like the others. Enter, practice prom! Hawkins High is throwing a "practice prom" this year, called 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭. Mike is obviously pissed off, considering that his parents are jet set on making him participate in 𝘢𝘭𝘭 school activities. He doesn't even have a reason to go! He doesn't have anyone to go with considering that 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 expect him in the party has a date. Enter Will Byers. Will Byers joins a few weeks before The Snowball, and considering how short the school year was, he pretty much joined when everyone else did. Mike Wheeler, his neighbor, instantly fell head over heels for him, inviting him to the party. It was peetty much social suicide, but he didn't really care. Mike is hoping to come out of his shell to ask him if he wants to go to The Snowball with him, but hes scared that hes not... Like him. What follows is a bunch on mixed emotions, teenage hormones, and a 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 bunch of crushing. ︶︶︶ ⊹ ︶︶︶⠀୨♡୧⠀︶︶︶ ⊹ ︶︶︶

Dustin Henderson had spent the last eight years searching for something. What exactly, he didn't quite know. And even if he did, he would never admit it to anyone, much less himself. In theory, he had everything he ever dreamed and imagined. He graduated valedictorian back in 1989, got his PhD from Duke in Astrophysics, moved to Colorado to work on a brand new satellite for a company he loved, and he and his best friend Steve still took annual trips every summer. What more could he possibly want? One holiday trip to Hawkins, Indiana, in December 1997 may lead him one step closer to what he's looking for... well, that and a one-way ticket to Iceland.
