Coming to an inn, he meets bartender Jack Kennedy, an orange hobbit, who he drags along with him on his adventure. They're friendship tends to be on the last string, and Dave is wondering if he can keep it going long enough to tell his new profound friend his feelings.

At one point in time, Henry's life diverged down two different routes, one a villain and the other neutral. This Henry took the latter but ended up in the Void nonetheless. The consciousness of the Void begins to develop feelings for him and their relationship grows from there. Just an attempt to write some DSaF fluff, yes I know Henry is not everyone's favourite but this was a request from a friend of mine and I wanted to try something different.

Just a theoretical prequel to how Henry got into the whole "Joy of Creation" thing!
