Chickens are nice Chicken butts

I am a hen, bird and animal lover, here is the start of a book about these great creatures. More to be added in the coming weeks!

Stories, memories, and observations of my chickens- wholesome, funny, emotional, sad, and everything in between. All the stories in this book are about my pet chickens and actually happened. They're such amazing, emotional creatures so I decided to write a book about their antics and my experiences with them. *This is a work in progress put together quite quickly and I will edit it more soon.*

All the Hen tribes on the land of Ovum (where the multi-colored hens lived) were at war, because they were fighting for one of the best pieces of land for living and breeding. It seemed like the war would never end. But in a small house in the Blue territory, a certain rainbow egg just might solve everything....

Clarissa May is her name, but people call her Riss. She loves her pet cat Olive and her hen's (Pineapple, Maize, Stiff, Raisin, and Fromage). She lives on a farm, at least five miles from school. She usually shows up to class wearing muddy jeans and a loose faded shirt, with a ripped up red jacket. Her backpack is over decorated with pins. Her binder is covered with stickers. And by the end of the day her arms are vandalized with words and drawings, of her own doing. She only has one friend, Stevie Sarkozy, and he isn't even a complete friend. He's just someone that she talks to in class, and class only. Everyone presumes her as this not so smart, free spirit, farm girl. And they are right, sadly.

*Part one out of the Chicken Series, a series in which only consists of stories and books about chickens. It was once believed that chickens' only purpose was to lay eggs for the humans to eat and provide meat, however, in Magnolia Blossom Chicken Coop, that's not the way it works. There, chickens rule the world - and the only purpose of humans is to provide the chickens new friends from dealerships. In April of 2020 five new baby chicks enter Magnolia Blossom Chicken Coop upon living in a brooder for two weeks, away from their mother: Meadow, Lavender, Dolly, Mae, and Etta. These five baby chicks begin to grow accustomed to the way things work at the chicken coop.. but of course things don't work out perfectly! These baby chicks have to endure the many downsides of being a chicken - predator attacks - and growing pains - sneaking out of the chicken coop.

Abused, exploited, imprisoned, tortured... All their lives these two sisters have never been cared for by anyone except each other. Their strong bond gets them through each painful day, and in each other they find the love their hearts so long for. Leaning on each other as they endure the horrors of the modern farming system the sweet hens wish desperately for mercy and soon dream of a better world. But how can such a small hen make such a huge change, or even just survive the deadly conditions? Among the cruelty they face, can kindness rise after all? *AUTHOR'S NOTE: This novel is a work in progress, thus the chapters aren't yet in their proper order and there are gaps to be filled. I am working on the book spontaneously, depending on which piece I'm inspired to write, so expect pretty random, unorganized updates with new parts placed between already complete ones, changes being made to previous chapters, etc. I hope that's okay and that my messy update process doesn't interfere with your reading. :) Thank you for understanding! I'm hoping I can get this finished one day, but for now here are the bits and pieces I have so far.*
