I skipped down the path to the beach. It was late but I really wanted to go swimming. When I got to the ocean I saw my best friend River. "Hey River!" "Oh hey Cascade." I walked up to him and pushed him in. He smiled at me and grabbed my hand and pulled me in. When he pulled me in a wave took me under. I was thrashing my arms trying to get back above the water. Then something strange happened. The water lifted me out and placed me on the beach. River looked at me in shock. "Whoa. Cool!" I smiled. I then felt something stir inside me. I realized that I had a special power few people of my kind had.
