After surviving sixteen long years in the compound, Vireo thinks he’s holding the perfect strategy to not being chosen. Every day in the compound has an air of anxiety when people wonder which five people will be taken away each week by the cannibals. After losing his only and closest friend, Vireo empties of love and fills with hate. However, with a sarcastic cannibal named Tokin appearing in the picture, and a (almost) psychotic girl named Tonnerre, Vireo just might find a way to discover that he’s not the only one that’s trapped. Enter; Tokin, a young cannibal without a past. At eighteen years old, Tokin remembers little about his life outside of the fact that he was raised and tortured by a man named Incheau, and that he is in love with a girl named Galaxy who disappeared when he was six. Not to mention he's also got his step brother Otter to deal with. But when Tokin discovers an area on the map nicknamed "The Grey" and decides to check it out, a system that has existed for ages shatters, and the world itself crumbles.
