How do you present proof of this religion to those who do not speak the language of the Arabs or know anything about the inimitable eloquence of the Qur'aan? Is it the only way for them to learn this language of the Arabs and to master its sciences? The answer, of course, is no. Allah, may He be Glorified and Exalted, has shown mercy to them and to all other generations by sending the appropriate evidence to all mankind, irrespective of their different races, languages, and times.

Imagine yourself at the moment of your death. What thoughts cross your mind? Memories of family and friends? Panic? Regrets? Remembrance of Allah? What is death? What happens to us after we die? What is life in the Hereafter like, this new and strange world after death? Do we lose consciousness of this life? Where does our soul go? Do we feel and think the same? The ineffable feeling of crossing the boundary between this world and the next cannot be described in words, nor imagined in the mind, but can be understood only through divine revealation and inspiration. Let us for the next few moments seek an understanding of this, death, the only certainty in life. Sometimes we may not want to know about the processes that occur after we die because we are afraid or don't want to think about it. However, this is not the attitude of a Muslim. We should be foremost in learning and understanding death, so we can live our lives accordingly. The prophet (saw) said, "Live in this world as though you are a stranger or a traveler (passing through it)." [Muslim] We are on a journey and should know about the whole journey's itinerary, not just one part. Death is inevitable. It is the one thing that we can be certain about in life. We are born to die. Every soul shall have a taste of death no matter who they are. Death is not pure annihilation, but rather both the living and dead are aware, but there is a difference that can't be compared. Death is merely movement from one world to another. It can be described as a journey through a wormhole to a separate dimension of existence.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. " All She Did Was Advice..." By Asma bint Shameem Fatima saw her sister's kids straying from the guidance of Allaah. She became very concerned. After all, those kids were like her own. She loved them dearly and wanted to save them from any sin they might fall into. Knowing that she will not have much control over the kids themselves, she decided to talk to her sister directly and advise her sincerely for the sake of Allaah about what she saw the kids doing. But, instead of appreciating Fatima's sincerity and understanding the motherly concern she had for her kids, her sister exploded. "Mind your own business!" she said. "This has nothing to do with you! Stop talking about my kids! Look at your own and what they are doing!" she shouted.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "What is Halloween and where did it come from?" by Unknown Halloween today is defined by children going house to house on the night of October 31st, dressed up in a variety of costumes collecting treats. Although Halloween may seem like a time for children to have fun carving pumpkins and collecting candy, not many know the origins of this 'festival' and its traditions that date back centuries. The origins of Halloween date back to the time of the Celtics or 'Celts'.They were a group occupying the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Northern France about 2,000 years ago. This group celebrated their new year on November 1st. This day marked the end of the summer and was reflected upon as a time of darkness and cold as winter approached. The Celtics associated this dark time of year with death.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "What's So Special About This Number?" by Asma bint Shameem. Some of us seek barakah (blessing) from it by writing this number on the top of our letters, documents, exams, and job applications. Some of us write it on something and hang it in the car to 'protect' us from accidents. Some of us chose it as the number for our cell phones or for our license plates, thinking it is part of Islaam and we are getting rewards for doing so. But what is this 'magical, mystical' number that is supposed to bring you barakah and protection and 'good luck'???? They say it is the number "786". Why??

Allah Almighty has made clear to us that His book, the Qur'aan has been revealed as a reminder to the whole world. Allah Almighty said: This is no less than a reminder to (all) the worlds. And you shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while. (Qur'aan 38:87-88). Thus, the Qur'aan is a reminder for all of mankind until the Last Hour. It contains information that man discovers in due time. Because this Qur'aan was revealed from Allah Almighty's knowledge and every single verse in it was revealed with Allah Almighty's knowledge, as He Himself said: But Allah bears witness that what He has sent unto you He has sent with His (own) knowledge... (Qur'aan 4:166).
