The Eight are down to seven with Jason Grace's death. And his best friend Theo Grace is not taking it well. Theo meets five strangers and an enemy from the past all in one night. She was told the four younger ones are to stay and decides to take them under her broken wings. A distraction from her drowning. She worms her way into Jason Todd's guarded heart and uncovers his past through sharing hers. They find comfort in each other and maybe he can be the reason she can sleep again. Through their time together he repairs her wings and reteaches her how to fly. He sees her when even her friends can't. She sees him when his brothers can't. She has the wings of an angel.
