In an unassuming apartment, 25-year-old Astryd leads a life that is anything but ordinary. A staunch atheist, her reality is upended when an unexpected vision during a drug-induced haze propels her towards the Church of Jesus Christ. Overcoming her skepticism, she embraces the teachings of the church, seeking the peace and purpose the vision had promised. But the more she immerses herself in the life of the church, the more she becomes privy to whispers of hidden darkness.

Imagine a world, no, a galaxy where it wasn't Horus who betrayed the Emperor but Ferrus Manus. Touched by the ruinous powers of the new chaos god and with the support of the traitorous Martian Mechanicum he launches a destructive uprising threatening to throw the galaxy and the Emperors grand plan into chaos. This is a short compendium, meant to act as as groundwork and the basic frame in which the stories of the heresy will take place.
