You may have heard of the tale of the Boy Who Lived. The tale of which the fabled Dark Lord had tried to murder who was known as the Chosen One, but was defeated by a mere infant? But what some don't know was that there was another similar child. Another child. No, two children who were victims of the Dark Lord. A year before the all too famous tale, those aforementioned children were made victims just like the boy, but they will meet each other and bond with one another at Hogwarts. We all know of him, the boy who rekindled the dead flame of optimism. What would happen if a boy completely opposite to this boy existed? This boy lived in complete darkness, he didn't know what he was capable of, and neither did Dumbledore. A/N: I don't remember much about Harry Potter since I haven't seen it/read the books in a while. I've only regained my love for Hermione's character in the stories recently. His best friend Dayton Cahill, originally from Canada, begins to question said magical powers of Harry's and is surprised to find that he possesses his own unique magical powers. The two children are summoned to become students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, an English boarding school for wizards and witches. There, they meet several friends who become their closest allies and help Harry discover the truth about his parents' mysterious deaths, and assist Dayton in learning more about his late mother's magical ancestry.

Exactly what the title says. It's a (soon-to-be) extensive fanfiction that spans across all 7 books / 8 movies and follows Y/N, a special (?) wizard, on his journey through day-to-day struggles, romance and his heritage. Core of this fic is the romance (slow burn at the start) between Y/N and Hermione, the friends he made along the way and atmospheric descriptions / dialogue that make you feel like you're truly there.
