It had only been a few months since he leaved EVO, and he'd been quickly accepted into the group. He's used to the chaos on the server, expecting anything. It's the start of a new Hermitcraft season, and Grian is anxious about what will happen. Little does he know that making one tiny mistake would cause the server to glitch, trapping him and his friends in the nether.

Sitting alone in his small rustic house, a small builder receives a letter from a friend. ▪▪▪ A cosy little prologue of sorts featuring Grian and Mumbo I wrote a long-ish time ago to be the start of a much bigger fic that was going to be this grand adventure in a kinda realistic Minecraft universe tying into multiple Hermitcraft seasons... which I've long since lost all motivation for ^^; Still, I think it's quite wholesome and quaint and works as its own little thing, so I thought I might fix it up a bit and just post it! After coming back from what Hermitcraft would have looked like in Alpha with Ren and Impulse, he... can't seem to be able to shake the uneasiness off. A few of the quotes are a bit romantic (?) or some shit, so any chapter with two asterisks (**) are I guess "shippy" or whatever lmao HEADS UP: If you ever feel some hermits don't really fit with specific quotes, then you cannot blame me. Although I have been watching hermitcraft since around season 5, even I can't keep up with every hermit. Thank you!

This is the main book of my AU. In here I'm a half-demon (same as my Instagram OC) with a fire quirk and I'm learning wind magic for about 7 years now. The hermits see me as their child since they know me since my 10 years ( I'm 17 now).
