Grian is a grown adult hermit with a stable adult life and mature adult thoughts. Joel doesn't go outside much. Despite him being a respected florist capable of creating gorgeous bouquets, the sun didn't touch his skin often. It wasn't a rare occurrence when he spent the entire day researching flowers and creating bouquets, often forgetting to tend to his own basic needs. However, one day he got stuck. The flower bouquets he created didn't seem unique anymore, lacking the magic they once possessed. That was until he decided to clear his mind with a walk in the woods and spotted a pink haired fairy. Tango closes his red eyes and sighs. He's probably just being paranoid because of the supernatural cases rising in the city just a few miles from his manor. He checks the grandfather clock once more, and the second it passes Jimmy's normal arrival time, he feels something in the air shift. Goosebumps form all over his arms, and a painful chill shoots down his spine. The Turf War was over, and the Mycelium Resistance won fair and square. Someone was having none of it. Mumbo is a hunter. That means his duty is to trap, hunt, and kill magical creatures throughout the kingdom. But one day, he finds something different. Something that eats away at his conscience, and makes him think: Was he really meant for this job? Grian is a shapeshifter. He has the ability to change at will between a dragon form and a human form. Being a magical creature, he keeps hidden away within the forest for his own safety, but one day he has a surprising encounter that would change his life. (Warnings -- mostly violence/gore -- at beginning of necessary chapters) (Word counts at the end of each chapter are for my ease, just ignore)
