Hanahaki disease, or Anthisi tapal as it was known scientifically, was a genetic rarity. It was rare to appear and even rarer to survive. It was by no means something unknown to Odysseus, his grandmother had apparently had it in her younger years, she'd warned him of it in one of few times he'd seen her- though he had stopped seeing her after mentioning the disease to his mother. She'd dismissed it as a myth, nothing more. She'd been wrong, he knew that now... Were there a better way to find out his mother was wrong than to literally experience it? There were many Odysseus could think of many, but it seemed the fates had decided this was fit. Well, at least he knew that who he had it for was worth the likely long painful death it'd bring him. Many would tell him to just "Get the surgery", but how could he explain that wasn't truly an option for him? Explain that he didn't remember almost anything from before his first year of high school? How could he, or anyone really, explain to his best friend(Because that's what they were) that he didn't remember him? How could he explain he didn't remember who he was? He couldn't. And he wouldn't. He caught it early enough on, he could buy himself more time.

"If you met a god, actually met one, would you be scared?" That was the question that started it all, Odysseus was sure of it. He'd said he'd be curious. HE SAID HE'D BE CURIOUS! That was where he'd fucked up, that he was sure of. Well, curiosity killed the cat. But satisfaction brought it back, didn't it?

Yes, the title is real! Since I haven't pretty much seen any Odysseus x Hermes books I like.. So here it is! Telemachus and Penelope sadly dies because of an unknown illness, now Odysseus has to find a new wife. Aoules thought it would be an funny dare for Hermes to turn into a girl and try the challenge. He ended up passing the challenge, now Hermes is left to deal with being a wife for Odysseus.. How would things turn out?!

The last thing Odysseus is expecting while training with Athena is a gods-damned goose showing up. He can't tell if the foul waterfowl wants him dead or not. And honestly with how it was looking at him? He was pretty sure it did.

He wasn't sure if he should call campus security or a psychiatrist. Because this is either an intruder, or the all-nighters he keeps pulling have caught up to him and he's having a psychotic break. At this point, neither would surprise Odysseus. But hey, if it was a psychotic break- at least the hallucination was committed to the fucking bit. (Art in cover from @sparkskun on Tumblr!)
