When Denki was a child, he was in an accident. He was in an elevator that wasn't up to code when the rigging failed and it fell to the ground floor. Everyone survived, but it left Denki with a fear of elevators that never went away. One day, he's out with friends and they decide to go to a pop-up café at the top of a very tall building. When they were about to kill you the heroes found you and brought you back home. Your parents rejected you and you fell into a depression and to top it off you got bullied by Bakugou. Maybe it would've been better to get killed after all...
