The man stretched out his hand, palm up, "take it." He said and she frowned before slipping her hand into his rough one. "I'm Jordan Perez." "Melissa Thomas," she returned. "So, are you a special agent or something?" "You could say that," he shrugged, but she could tell that whatever organization he was a part of wasn't legitimate.

Dreams. It is the escape from reality for those among the sleep. They can be something of a fantasy. And they can be something from a horror film, both are unpredictable. What about those condemned to sleep? Not to death, but more along the lines of the edge of death. This is called limbo. On a sunny day in August, school was just getting into its fourth week. However, that day, five kids with one thing in common, would be taken to limbo, In a very painful manner. When a rogue school bus puts them all in serious comas, they are taken to the world of limbo. There they are taken to an abandoned carnival, where the mysterious Entertainer awaits them. Why a carnival? Because, that's what young Charlie Dillon dreamt of, and it's what the entertainer chose. The next three months, which felt more like a week, would be an adventure like no other. With time slowly running out, the Entertainer would need the groups help, destroying a mysterious villain, trying to keep them their forever.

This is a compilation of the poetry I have written over the years. To the best of my ability, I have organized them in chronological order from which they were written. Some of these poems were written quite recently while others were written several years ago. It is an amalgamation of how I've grown and how I see the world. I believe Earth's simple complexities inspire individualism and spirit while at the same time invoking fear, anxiety, and harm. I have changed over the years. I will change in the years to come. I can only hope the world will change with me over time.

In which I take a different approach on the first superhero. Set in the 1980s, Clark Kent is tired of being normal and having to hide himself. The world clearly has no interest in Clark Kent, amateur journalist. Maybe it's time he tried something a little different. Making this leap has a great affect on his ordinary life as well, though. His mother knows what he is up to and tries desperately to discourage him. Arguments stir with his friend Jimmy and co-worker Lois has no interest in him either. And always running away to save the day could cost him his job.
